When that happens, it might mean that your watch and phone aren't able to connect to each other. There are a couple of things to try:
There might be a couple of reasons:
While I've made every effort to ensure that the complications update on a regular basis, there are unfortunately certain circumstances where Watchsmith won't get woken up by your watch to get refreshed. Typically if you tap on the complication on the watch and launch the app it will be able to start updating again.
Watchsmith should work on any Apple Watch running watchOS 7.0 or later, so not the Series 0, 1 or 2 unfortunately.
Apple only provides some of the complication styles on Series 4 & 5 watches, so those won't available on a Series 3 watch. But the core functionality should be the same regardless. The two supported complications for these types right now are the Modular Small and X-Large complications. I expect to add the rest over time.
You can add time based complications by either tapping the Plus button on the editor, or by dragging your finger along the times shown on the editor. Once added, you adjust it by grabbing either end of the complication's display and pulling it to where you want it. Dragging from the middle will move it while keeping the duration constant. Complications cannot overlap each other.
Yup, this is done by adding a new complication to a given family and then selecting it in the Apple Watch chooser.
These are only available on 40mm or 44mm Apple Watches (currently the Series 4 or 5).
Unfortunately, there are ongoing costs for us to provide Weather and Tide data services in the app (i.e. we have to pay to access that data). As such, we have to pass along some of that cost to the user to enable the financial sustainability of app. Hopefully the numerous free aspects of the app are still useful to you.
Glad you asked! Dave has put together this quick overview video to help get you started. https://youtu.be/XcamUbXse4E
Maybe. I really want to know what ideas you have for the app and how it can better serve your needs. Please use the suggestions button to email me your thoughts. Please understand that not everything is possible for me to do.
Probably the best place is to follow me on Twitter. I'll post regular updates about what I'm working on and release notes there.
